The Riverfront Arts Festival will open September 17 from 5:00 PM to 10:00 PM; It reopens Saturday, September 18 from 12:00 PM to 10:00 PM and Sunday, September 19 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. The festival will include performances from a diverse group of local and regional musical heavy-hitters, including Opera Columbus's season preview, Ladies of Longford, renown Beatles tribute, "A Hard Day's Night," Sabrina Tutstone, Fo/Mo/Deep, Marble Park and Slick Andrews and the Generators. 9/19 - Kitchen Kapers 2010
Kitchen Kapers 2010 presented by Riverside Methodist Hospital will take place on Sunday, September 19th. Kitchen Kapers is an annual fundraiser featuring tours of newly remodeled gourmet kitchens in Upper Arlington and surrounding areas. The kitchens will showcase builders, vendors and designers as well as local restaurants, florists and specialty stores who donate their time and products to each home on the tour. 9/26 - Race for the Kids 5K Run/Walk
Race for the Kids 5K Run/Walk and Free 1/4 mile fun run for kids is at Jones Middle School Track at 2100 Arlington Ave. in Upper Arlington on Sunday, September 26th at 9 AM. Each participant will receive a t-shirt, goodie bags, and refreshments. Race for the kids supports the mission of Nationwide Children's Hospital, and all the funds raised will help sick children get better. 9/26 - New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix and Family Day
Join Mix 107-9 at the 13th Annual New Albany Classic Invitational Grand Prix and Family Day on Sunday, September 26th from 10 AM -5 PM. The Classic includes thirty of North America's top equestrians and their mounts in an internationally-sanctioned show jumping Grand Prix. The Classic also includes a lively family fair filled with traditional carnival activities, including rides, face painting, jugglers, a petting zoo and much more. Mix 107-9 welcomes MUSE to Value City ARena on Tuesday, October 12th at 8 PM. MUSE, once labeled the greatest British rock heretics of the new century is set to embark on a world tour with a stop in Columbus. Known for their energetic and extravagant live performances and their fusion of multiple music genres including progressive rock, classical, heavy metal and electronic and easily recognized because of Matthew Bellamy's falsetto and use of vibrato, MUSE has been dubbed, "the best LIVE band."
