“Ultimate Family Getaway”

1.       Prize: MIX 107.9 (WVMX FM will award (1) Grand Prize:  “Ultimate Family Getaway” in the Hocking Hills of Ohio. (Up to 10) 3days – 2 night stay in the Hillside Cabin at Cabins By The Caves (Collison Road) Hocking County, Ohio. Room accommodations, $100 Grocery Gift Certificate included as prize. Grand Prize may be used (based upon availability at time of booking) from May 1st 2010-June30th, 2011 (13-months) except for Standard Holiday Blackout dates & month of October. Winner is responsible for transportation.   Value totaling approximately $500.

2.       How to win: Register at MIX 107.9’s Family Fun Zone @ the Columbus Zoo. Complete the questionnaire, visit each of the participating sponsor booths @ the event and have them initial or stamp your “Passport” from 9am - 5pm, Saturday/Sunday, May 1 & 2, 2010. Only one entry per person will be accepted.  A random drawing of those entries will determine the winner.  MIX 107.9 reserves the right to postpone or extend the contest dates.

3.       MIX 107.9 cannot be responsible for a person’s inability to complete the required entry whether due to equipment malfunction or inability to visit all sponsors at the event on May 1 & 2, 2010.  Odds of winning are based on the number of entries.

4.       Who’s Eligible: Contest is open to any resident of Columbus and the surrounding listening area over the age of 18 attending the “MIX 107.9’s Family Fun Zone @ the Columbus Zoo” from 9am - 5pm, Saturday/Sunday,  May 1 & 2, 2010, except employees, their families, officers, directors and stockholders of Franklin Communications or participating sponsors of  “MIX 107.9’s Family Fun Zone @ the Columbus Zoo” for 2010. MIX 107.9 reserves the right to disqualify any winner if the contest rules have been violated.  Contest void where prohibited.

5.       Winner’s Release:  Prize winner must present identification and sign a release a) permitting reasonable use of name, voice, likeness, and biographical information and b) releasing MIX 107.9 and all “MIX 107.9’s Family Fun Zone @ the Columbus Zoo” 2010 sponsors participating sponsors, their officers, directors, stockholders and employees from any and all claims, liabilities and damages arising directly or indirectly out of award or use of the grand prize. In accordance with IRS regulations, any winner receiving prizes(s) valued at $600 or more in a given calendar year will be furnished a copy of IRS Form 1099 (miscellaneous income).  The winner agrees to waive any claim of royalty or right of remuneration for any such promotional use and agree not to appear on, or on behalf of, any other radio or television station for a period of one (1) year after acceptance of prize.

6.       Grand Prize is to be claimed at MIX 107.9 Office & Studios 4401 Carriage Hill Lane Columbus, Ohio 43220 during normal business hours Monday – Friday 8:30 am – 5:30pm and Wednesday evenings until 7:00pm. Winners are required to present a valid article of identification as described above at this time.  All identification submitted to verify a winner is subject to acceptance by MIX 107.9 in its sole discretion.  Identification which is counterfeit, illegible, tampered with or otherwise altered will not be accepted.  All prizes are to be claimed within two weeks of date of issue.  Any prize not claimed within the allotted time period shall remain the sole property of MIX 107.9. All prizes must be used by June 30^th, 2011.  Prize cannot be exchanged for cash and must be used as described here in. 

7.       The person who enters to win/claim any prize and the person redeeming the prize must be one and the same, and will be considered the sole and exclusive winner.  Prizes are non-transferable and non-assignable.  Winners will be obligated to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility and provide their social security/tax identification number before receiving the prizes.  Failure to comply with any requirement of these terms and conditions will result in the winning entrant being deemed ineligible for award.  All prize winners are responsible for any federal, state and local taxes as well as any additional expenses incurred with use of the prize.

8.       No purchase necessary.

9.       Where applicable; MIX 107.9, affiliates, participating sponsors, their agencies and the like, or any member thereof, make no claims of merchantability or validity of Prize.  See participating sponsors for complete warranty and operating instructions as it pertains to Prize.

10.  One winner per household, one winner per family for the duration of this contest.  The term family shall include spouses, parents, children, grandparents, grandchildren and cohabiting significant others.  Employees of MIX 107.9 and Franklin Communications, Inc. and its ultimate parent company, Saga Communications, Inc., their advertising agencies, affiliates, contest sponsors, employees and immediate families of each, and employees of all media of mass communication within a one hundred mile radius of the Sunny 95 main studio are not eligible to win any contest.  Immediate family includes the spouse, great-grandparents, grandparents, parents, brothers, sisters, children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren of the employee and his/her spouse. This also includes individuals for whom the employee is current legal guardian.

11.  All decisions of MIX 107.9 concerning this contest or eligibility are final.

12.  In the event the winner is subject to or the subject of any order or legal process issued by any governmental agency having jurisdiction over the affairs of the winner, (e.g.  garnishment, child  support order, judgment, lien and the like), MIX 107.9’s delivery of the prize to the official  representative of the governmental entity claiming a right to the prize shall be entitled to rely in  good faith upon any documents presented by the representatives seeking to collect the prize in lieu of the winner.  Presentation of the prize to such authorized representative or entity shall be deemed same as having given the prize directly to the winner.  MIX 107.9 shall not be liable for any claim by winner for damage incidental thereto.
